As the Aerospace & STEM industry continues to grow, a lack of activities exists for students in Delaware, a problem which both the DAA and DESGC have realized.
Starting in 2021 with the help of Dr. Higgin as a mission to spread Aerospace and its fundamental concepts throughout Delaware in conjunction with our schools, the Delaware Aerospace Association is aiding students around Delaware's inequitable access to science.
We specialize in providing research opportunities at the University of Delaware, providing chapter curricula, holding speaker series, and community research projects.
The Delaware Aerospace Association leverages its network of high school students to create an innovation platform, providing resources for students to develop ideas and skills. We serve as a stepping stone for early skill development, helping students stay ahead in ever-changing STEM industries.
Aerospace Engineering integrates diverse disciplines, exemplified by the Apollo landing, where teamwork, physics, and CAD played pivotal roles. We aim to nurture students' skills through challenges and activities, providing them with a solid foundation for success in Aerospace engineering and related fields.
